1 Day First Aid at Work Course - Complies with HSE best practice

Our Emergency First Aid at Work one day course equips participants to manage the risks identified in a First Aid Assessment, identifying the risks faced by their specific organization.

This course is aimed at to employees needing a good, basic level of practical emergency first aid competency in their work environment.

The course is practically based - we provide realistic, hands-on training and not group classroom presentations.

Learners are assessed against their ability to manage simulated incidents, and provide lifesaving first aid, rather than on their ability to take a written exam.

The course is available for a maximum number of 12 students, and lasts for 1 day (8 hours).

Successful Candidates will receive an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate valid for three years.

Really enjoyed, wish we had been able to do this years ago – would have been really helpful when previously facing farm emergencies. Instructors very supportive to help properly teach and prepare you which makes you feel a lot more confident when approaching challenges. This develops progressively throughout the day, incorporating both scenarios and practical exercises. Think everyone working in practices should attend. Such an interesting and informative course.

Our training is built on real-world pressure, delivered by instructors who have operated under pressure.

We blend real-world operational experience with pressure-tested communication and decision-making models to deliver immersive, scenario-based training. This approach allows individuals and teams to practise how they lead, communicate, and respond when the pressure is real — not just when it’s discussed in a classroom.

Our instructors come from high-performance environments including military, security, emergency services, and senior commercial leadership roles. They’ve operated under pressure, not just studied it — and they bring that experience into every leadership, team-building, and first aid course we deliver.
